Hello! My name is Felipe, and I’d love to be your local guide in Almada.

I grew up in a small village in central Portugal and later studied law at the University of Coimbra. After moving to Lisbon for work, I eventually settled in Almada in 2020...and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve made.

Almada is full of history, unique viewpoints, and a more authentic, relaxed atmosphere compared to Lisbon. Over time, I started discovering places and stories that most visitors never get to see.

That’s why I created this tour, to share a different side of the Lisbon area with those willing to cross the river and explore beyond the usual tourist paths.

Where to

Take the Transtejo ferry to Cacilhas from the Cais do Sodré terminal in Lisbon. You can check the timetable here (please note that schedules may change on weekends and public holidays).

We meet at the red lighthouse of Cacilhas (Farol de Cacilhas), next to the ferry terminal, an easy and scenic starting point just across the river from Lisbon.
